Paula McLain received her MFA in poetry from the University of Michigan in 1996. She is the author of the memoir Like Family: Growing Up in Other People's Houses and a collection of poetry, Less of Her. McLain has been a resident at The MacDowell Colony and Vermont Studio Center. Her poems have appeared in The Bellingham Review, Quarterly West, Cream City Review, Third Coast, and Green Mountains Review. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
