Steve Langan was born in Milwaukee. His graduate degree is from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he received the James Michener Fellowship, and his poems have been published in DoubleTake, The Kenyon Review, Chicago Review, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, and Witness. He lives in Omaha with his wife and son.
