2008

1. Early September – Mail 2008 workshop information.


2. Friday 26 September – FALL WORKSHOP
   Committee will meet at 9 a.m.
   Directors should bring their "best octet" with them (maximum of eight students).
   Association membership fee of $40 must be paid at the workshop.


3. Before 15 October – Mail minutes from Fall Workshop meeting.

2009

4. Before 10 January – Mail Honors Choir audition request cards to schools.
   Schools should return cards promptly to reserve an audition spot.


5. By 25 January – Mail Honors Choir audition times to each school.
   Mailing will include travel/parking instructions.


6. Monday 26 January – NEW HONORS CHOIR AUDITION HELP SESSION (details TBD).


7. Monday 2 February – HONORS CHOIR AUDITIONS in Dalton Center from 4:30–6:00 p.m.
   Committee will meet following auditions.


8. Monday 2 February – 2009 festival registration forms will be mailed to all directors who attended the Fall Workshop.


9. Wednesday 4 February – Honors Choir audition results will be mailed to directors and to each student who auditioned (along with additional Honors Choir details).


10. Friday 13 February – Deadline for mailing registration forms back to WMU.
    Thursday 19 February – Deadline for faxing registration forms back to WMU.
    NOTE: The festival is not obligated to accept registration forms received after Thursday 19 February.
    Per capita fee of $4 per student may be mailed with form if possible, but do not delay mailing the form; your business office can mail the check later.


11. Wednesday 4 March – seating tickets will be sent by PRIORITY MAIL.


12. HONORS CHOIR REHEARSALS.
    Monday 2 March – 4:30–6:00 in Dalton Center Choral Rehearsal Room 1116
    Monday 9 March – 4:30–6:00 in Dalton Center Choral Rehearsal Room 1116
    Wednesday 11 March – 4:30–6:00 p.m. in Dalton Center Choral Rehearsal Room 1116
    Wednesday 11 March – 7:30–9:00 p.m. in Miller Auditorium
    Thursday 12 March – 4:00–4:30 p.m. in Miller Auditorium (Festival Day).


13. Thursday 12 March – FESTIVAL DAY.
    Committee will meet.


14. Friday 20 March – Deadline for mailing your CD recording order.


15. Friday 15 May – Do everything possible to mail CDs to schools no later than this.


16. Before 1 June – Do everything possible to mail 2010 music list no later than this.
