Conference Registration Forms
Registration packets will be mailed to all high school band directors in Michigan
circa February 15. The forms may also be downloaded from this page via Acrobat Reader, but they cannot be
submitted online. Nomination/registration forms should not be mailed before each nominee's 2008
solo/ensemble festival rating is known. The published mailing deadline for the 2008 conference
is Friday, March 7.
Nomination Form
Each high school band director in Michigan may nominate as many as four of his/her best players for participation in the 125-member Samuel R. Hazo All-Star Band which will rehearse and perform in Miller Auditorium on Spring Conference day. Additional nominees will participate in the conference's Richard Suddendorf Repertory Band. This ensemble will read newly published and classic works for band including at least one work by Hazo who will spend time with the ensemble. Band directors must mail their all-star nomination form and registration form no later than Friday 7 March.
Registration Form
The registration form should be mailed at the same time as the nomination form. Please verify student availability before you list them on the nomination form. Complete instructions are printed on each form. Additional conference information will be mailed to all who register.
