The Director
of Music Therapy at Western, he is a member
of the Executive Board and Assembly of Delegates
for the American Music Therapy Association and
is a past president of Michigan Music Therapists.
He is a frequent
presenter at state, regional, and national conferences,
serves as editor of Music Therapy Perspectives,
and has been published in numerous textbooks and periodicals in the music therapy discipline.
He received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Music Therapy Association in 2002.
