He teaches organ,
theory, keyboard harmony, and choral literature,
coaches chamber music, accompanies Collegiate
Singers, and is University Organist.
The recipient
of three masters degrees and a doctorate from
The University of Michigan, where he taught
theory and keyboard and conducted a university
choral ensemble, he has also taught music at
the Washington School of Ballet and Kalamazoo
College.
He has been organist
and music director in churches of several denominations
and served five years as Dean of the Southwest
Michigan Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
In 1985 he won
first prize for the highest score given nationally
for Associateship examinations by the American
Guild of Organists.
