Principal percussionist with both the Kalamazoo Symphony, and Fontana Society, she has also performed with the Grand Rapids Symphony, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Evansville Philharmonic, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, and Meadowbrook Festival Orchestra.
Her teachers include George Gaber (Indiana), William Roberts (Denver Symphony), and Donald Miller (Cleveland Orchestra).
She performs as a soloist in the Great Lakes Region, and has adjudicated for MTNA regionals, National Collegiate Percussion Competitions, and the 1998 Percussive Arts Society Composition Contest.
Her WMU Percussion Ensemble presented a feature performance at the 1998 Percussive Arts Society International Convention, one of only two collegiate ensembles to be so honored.
She has served as president of the Michigan Percussive Arts Society.
