She has performed roles with opera companies in California, Illinois, North Dakota, and Texas and at the Aspen Music Festival.
She performs as a soloist with orchestra and has been involved in church work as both a choral director and soloist.
She taught voice at the University of North Dakota where she also was vocal coach for opera and musical theatre productions.
Her post-graduate work has focused on education and vocal music via additional study at the University of North Dakota, University of Minnesota/Minneapolis, University of Texas at Austin, and Florida State.
A Gordon Getty Scholarship recipient at Santa Barbara, she was first place winner of the 1990 Metropolitan Opera Auditions in North Dakota Her teachers include Elizabeth Mannion, Fiora Contino, and Licia Albanese.
