Thank you for your interest
in Western Michigan University's music program.
Your possible 2008-09 audition dates are the following:
- November
7 (for Spring '09 enrollment)
- February
6 (for Fall '09 enrollment
- February
20 (for Fall '09 enrollment)
- March 13
(for Fall '09 enrollment)
Before you can be admitted
to any music major, you must complete our audition
and testing program. Audition dates are indicated
above. If you cannot come to Western on one of these
dates, please notify
us promptly and we will attempt to determine an
alternate date.
You must audition in
November, February, or March to ensure entrance and
scholarship consideration. Instrumental and vocal
studios are limited in the number of students that
may be accepted. Admission is highly competitive.
Students may audition a maximum of two (2) times for
any studio.
An Audition Confirmation
form may be downloaded and printed. Complete
and mail it EARLY (must be received two weeks
prior to desired audition date), since audition
slots are filled on a first-come, first-served
basis.
