Testing Portal

All prospective music majors (BA, BM, BMA, and BS) are required to complete basic musicianship exams as part of the admissions process. These online exams will be administered when you come to campus on a New Student Admissions Day using our Music Admissions Portal in WMU's Elearning.

FIRST TIME: To reach the Music Admissions Portal you must first be enrolled in WMU's Elearning.  Please select one of the following options:

  • Existing user
If you already have a Bronco NetID (e.g., your.name@wmich.edu) from your WMU admission or a previous course, you can login to Elearning self-register for the Music Admissions Portal as an existing user.
  • New user
If, by the time of your NSAD date, you have not yet been issued a Bronco NetID (username), you will need to enroll as a new guest user within Elearning using your personal email address. (It is preferable to register using your Bronco NetID, so you should wait until your NSAD is date is close and only choose the New User option if necessary.)

RETURNING: If you already went through one of the two steps above to enroll in Elearning and register for the Music Admissions Portal, you can go straight to https://elearning.wmich.edu, login (with either your Guest username or Bronco NetID), click on the link for the Music Admissions Portal under "My Courses". It is recommended that you test out the login procedure a few days before you arrive on campus for your NSAD, so that you have time to troubleshoot if you have forgotten your username or password.

If you have questions or problems with the Music Admissions Portal, contact David Loberg Code at music-grad@wmich.edu.
