A Letter from the Director of the WMU School of Music

Dear Friends,
 
Since arriving in Kalamazoo, I have enjoyed much kindness and generosity from my university colleagues as well as many other people in the community. I have traveled numerous parts of this country and find these acts of consideration to be unique in lots of ways. It inspires me.
 
We all need inspiration. It educates our emotions and transforms us. You can experience an abundance of inspiration by attending concerts of The Bullock Music Performance Institute. In a world dominated by popular culture, the BPI is an oasis that offers an exciting range of performances that will speak to your intellect, emotions, intuition, imagination, memory, and physical senses.

The Bullock Music Performance Institute delights, instructs, and inspires our students and the Kalamazoo community. We hope these artistic presentations will be a contributor to enlarge and refine our humanity in
this outstanding community.
