Eligibility
Current 8th or 9th grader in Kalamazoo Public Schools
Must have an interest in attending college
Must have a need for academic support in order to pursue a program of post-secondary education
Must be either low-income (as documented by parents'/guardians' income tax return) or potential first generation college students (meaning that parents/guardians did not attend college and do not hold Bachelor's degrees)
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident
Must have a desire to participate in all activities and have a willingness to work hard (the time commitment to this program is through high school graduation)
