2009 WMU Medallion Scholarship Program

Attention class of 2009

Calling all high school seniors graduating in 2009! Have you sent in your admissions application to WMU? The Office of Admissions needs all documents for admission (application, $35 application fee, High School transcript and test scores) by December 5, 2008 in order to consider you for the Medallion Scholarship Competition. Apply today!

In order to qualify for the competition students must have the following:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher, on a 4.0 scale, at the end of their junior year
• ACT composite score of 26 or higher OR SAT math and critical reading score of 1170

Benefits of the WMU Medallion Scholarship

Each Medallion Scholarship is valued at $40,000 across four years ($10,000 per year). All Medallion Scholars become members of Western Michigan University’s Lee Honors College.  Benefits of the honors college include a freshman mentoring program, smaller class sizes, individualized academic advising, and much more.
