1. Friday, February 13, 1998, 4:10 in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor of Everett Tower.
Dr. Alan Koch, Hope College, will present a talk entitled "The Cantor Shadow Problem".. Refreshments will be served at 3:50 pm.
2. Friday, February 20, 1998, 4:00 pm in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor of Everett Tower.
Chris Poisson, Western Michigan University, will present a talk entitled "Graphs, Dimensions, and Chemistry. Refreshments will be served at 3:45 pm.
3. Friday, March 20, 1998, 4:00 pm in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor of Everett Tower.
Professor Robert Megginson, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor will present a talk entitled "Native American Mathematics. Refreshments will be served at 3:45 pm.
4. Thursday, March 26, 1998, 4:00 pm in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor of Everett Tower,
Professor Underwood Dudley, DePauw University, will present a talk entitled "Angle Trisectors". Refreshments will be served at 3:45 pm. Preceding the talk at 3:50 there will be an initiation of new members and the election of 1998-99 officers for Pi Mu Epsilon. This talk is supported in part by Student Assessment Fees.
5. Friday, April 10, 1998, 4:00 pm in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor of Everett Tower.
Dr. Thomas Richardson, Western Michigan University, will present a talk entitled "How Real is Real". Refreshments will be served at 3:45 pm. The talk will be followed by a pizza party.
6. Monday, April 13 1998, 4:00 pm in the Alavi Commons Room, Sixth Floor Everett Tower,
Chris Rodger, Auburn University, will present a talk entitled "Discrete Mathematics Today". Refreshments will be served at 3:45 pm.
