Leaders 168 hours (120 more to go--more
than 1/2 way!)
With this training, Teacher Leaders work with 935 other grades 6 - 8 teachers of mathematics from their own districts on mathematics content and pedagogy related to standards-based programs. Over the life of the project these 935 teachers will receive approximately 100 hours of professional development!
Teacher Leaders with their other District Leadership Team members are also charged with creating and implementing a mathematics plan for improvement as well as informing other district stakeholders regarding their plan.
The project applauds the hard work these people do as they strive to improve the educational opportunities for their students. WAY TO GO!
