Abstract: There are many relationships between different areas of mathematics. Many times if we change the context of our problem from one area to another we can find solutions. In this talk we will give an introduction to knot theory and show how knots are related to graphs. In particular, we will show how to state the famous Four Color Theorem in terms of knot theory.
