Pi Mu Epsilon

Through student lectures, invited speakers, and by promoting mathematical discusions, Pi Mu Epsilon helps undergraduates realize their full mathematical potential. Members have the opportunity to submit papers to the national Pi Mu Epsilon journal. Students may seek membership after completing the calculus sequence. Click here to apply for membership. • The Science and Mathematics Teacher Association at WMU is organized for the following purposes:
  To build a community of those interested in mathematics and the sciences and the teaching of these content areas, involving faculty and students, at both undergraduate and graduate levels, local classroom teachers, and WMU alumni
  
• To foster and encourage communication and collaboration among and between these groups and the public to enrich the understanding of mathematics, the sciences, and mathematics and science education
  
• To promote life-long learning
