Dr. Ron Larson's research interests include promotion planning and evaluation, food marketing strategy, demand for convenient food, and crisis management. He teaches Marketing Principles, Sales Promotion, Food Marketing Issues and Strategies, and Food Marketing Systems at WMU. Prior to joining WMU's faculty in 1998, Larson worked for nearly five years as a marketing researcher at Kellogg's and Oscar Mayer Foods. Larson also served on the faculty at North Carolina State University in the agribusiness marketing and management area and was the Associate Director of The Retail Food Industry Center at the University of Minnesota.
