Mary Claire Reynolds is a senior majoring in Instrumental Music Education. She is from Chicago, IL and graduated from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School in 2010, where she was heavily involved in instrumental music. This will be her fifth year in the Bronco Marching Band and first as Drum Major. Mary Claire spent four years in the clarinet section, where she served as both a drill instructor and section leader. In the School of Music, she has performed with the University Concert Band, University Symphonic Band, and Collegiate Singers, where she has served as a soprano section leader. She is an active member of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity, and has held many positions including Music Director, Recording Secretary, Chaplain, and Relations Officer. Mary Claire also leads a student-run a cappella group and enjoys playing tuba in the Campus Band. Her interests outside of music include reading, knitting, skiing, and spending time with her friends. After graduation, she aspires to be a high school band director and pursue a Master’s Degree in Conducting. She is looking forward to another successful year in the Bronco Marching Band and is eager to begin the 2014 season. Let’s Go Broncos!
