Jeremy Stevens is a junior majoring in Music Education. He is from Peru, Illinois, and is an alumnus of LaSalle-Peru Township High School. During his time in high school, he participated in the marching, jazz, and concert bands, as well as the spring musical, tennis teams, and academic teams. At Western, he is a member of the trumpet studio, and has performed in the symphonic, concert, campus, jazz lab, and pep bands. Jeremy has a huge love for the marching arts. This will be his third year in the Bronco Band; prior to being a drum major, he was a trumpet section leader. 2014 also marks his second year performing with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, where he plans to age-out in 2015. He also maintains a small group of ensembles that he instructs high brass and visual. Outside of the marching activity, Jeremy is a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, enjoys a good run, and is an avid Nintendo fan. After college, his goal is to be a high school band director and eventually work towards a Master’s degree in an undecided field. He is looking forward to the huge potential that the 2014 season is gearing up for, so LET’S GO BRONCO BAND!
