Join us for the 3rd Annual WMU Drum Bash at Kanley Track on Sunday 9/27, from 10:00am-5:30pm! It will be a day full of marching percussion, featuring percussion programs from local area high schools. Tickets will be $6.00 at the door, Children 10 and under will be admitted free of charge.
Everyone is invited! The WMU Drum Bash was started to create a sense of community in the West Michigan drumming community, and offer a platform for high schools to perform in front of other students.
Each high school listed will perform for 20 minutes; our featured clinician for this year, Tim Fairbanks, will work with each group towards the end of this allotted time, offering suggestions and techniques to each ensemble as they enter the “home stretch” of
their performance season. You may view the schedule,
though it is subject to change.
Audience members and drumlines will have the opportunity to work with each section of the WMU Drumline during the day. Please bring your own drums, sticks, mallets, and cymbals. We will have more clinicians on hand to work with each section!
Any questions, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org
