Employers value the experience of an internship. The Haworth College of Business Career Center can assist you with planning a strategy for finding and securing an internship. Western Michigan University students seeking academic credit for internship will work with a faculty member before the internship begins.
For the management major, internship credits count as business elective credits. You can find internships in a variety of ways, including BroncoJOBS, career events or referrals. The internship eligibility and learning component must first be approved by the Department of Management. All business internship courses are at the 3000- or 4000-level. Contact the department or a faculty member for additional requirements.
