Current Laboratory Equipment/Facilities

Shaker Table

When the new Engineering College Building was built in 2002 Whirlpool Corporation donated the shaker table to the WMU Noise and Vibrations Laboratory. The, 6,000lbf single axis pneumatic driven shaker table, is installed on a vibration isolation system. It is used for product and packaging testing and can be used to simulate shipping environments.

- The top surface measures 60” x 98”
- Range of 3-300 Hz
- Sine sweep and random vibration
