Locating Journal Articles in Psychology
To locate research articles found in scholarly journals, use an index to the periodicals in that field.
PsycINFO is the database of choice for all aspects of psychological data (behavioral, clinical, industrial, experimental, school, counseling, etc.) The online source (1887 to date) indexes technical reports, book chapters, book reviews, theses and dissertations, and, of course, journal articles. Many references are linked to full text either directly or through Find It at WMU. Online tutorials provide excellent assistance in different search techniques.
An index to full text APA journal articles is available through PsycARTICLES. Both are linked below and can also be found through the A-Z list of Article Indexes and Databases on the Libraries' home page.
