OVID Nursing Collection Indexes hundreds of nursing journals and provides full text access to over forty of these journals. Searches can be limited just to full text or review articles. Updated daily.

Science Direct Database for scientific research that contains the citations and abstracts of more than 1,800 Elsevier journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences as well as selected full text articles. Science Direct can be searched as a database or browsed by individual title. Coverage varies.

ERIC
The Educational Resources Information Center indexes and abstracts over 2,000 journals and more than 450,000 reports in education and related fields. Some documents are available full text, the rest are on microfiche in the Education Library. Covers 1966-present. Updated monthly.
This is the FirstSearch version, also available from CSA and from the US government. Tutorial

CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health) Indexes journals in nursing and related fields with full text for 560 of them. Some go back as far as 1937. Updated weekly.

Medline (FirstSearch) The major index to medical research, from clinical medicine to cellular and biomolecular biology. Produced by the US National Library of Medicine. Coverage: 1965 - present. Updated daily.

RefWorks Info: Medline will export marked citations directly into your RefWorks account. (You will be prompted to login.)

PubMed Is the National Library of Medicine's interface for searching MEDLINE, the major index to medical research, from clinical medicine to cellular and biomolecular biology. Free citations and abstracts, limited full text. Coverage: 1966 - present. Updated weekly.

InfoTrac Health Reference Center - Academic Indexes articles with abstracts and selected full text from medical journals and other publications about medicine, nutrition, and related subjects. Coverage: 1980-present.

LexisNexis Academic Indexes thousands of domestic and foreign newspapers, as well as journals, and other publications in News, Business company reports and articles, Legal Research, Medical and Reference. The legal research category includes law reviews, law news, federal and state laws and cases. Mostly full text. Includes Hoover's full text. Coverage dates vary.
