PsycCritiques and PsycINFO have indexed book reviews as do Social Sciences Abstracts and the Web of Science.
Two online titles, also available in print, index book reviews in general: Book Review Digest Z1219 .C96 (Ref), and the Book Review Index Z1035 A1 B6 (Ref). The online Books in Print also includes reviews of contemporary books. On occasion a search of Google or other search engines may also locate books reviews from book sellers such as Amazon.com.

PsycCritiques
Each week PsycCritiques releases approximately 15 reviews of current books and films. This replaces the print journal Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books. Coverage from 1995.

PsycINFO restricted Psychological Abstracts BF 1 .P65 (General Stacks)
Covers world-wide literature in psychology and related disciplines. Journal articles, technical reports, books, book chapters, and dissertations are included. Coverage: 1887-present. Updated weekly.
Use the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms for subject words: BF1 .P65x 2007 (Education Lib. and Waldo Ref.)

Social Sciences Abstracts restricted Indexes over 600 periodicals in anthropology, economics, ethnic studies, feminist studies, geography, human services, international relations, law and criminology, police science, political science, population studies, psychology, public administration, public health, social work, sociology, urban studies, and related social science subjects. Coverage: indexing from 1983 and abstracts from 1994. Updated weekly.

Web of Science restricted Web of Science from the ISI Web of Knowledge contains three major databases covering all areas of knowledge: Science Citation Index Expanded (1900-present), Social Sciences Citation Index (1956-present), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975-present). The literature can be searched by subject, author, journal title, and author's address. Cited Ref. Search allows users to search for articles that cite a particular author or work. Book Review Index restricted Provides reviews of general interest and some scholarly books published in the US since 1965. This doesn't have the excerpts from reviews that Book Review Digest provides, nor does it go back to 1905, but it does index many more periodicals.

Book Review Digest restricted Indexes and excerpts reviews of English-language fiction and nonfiction books published in leading periodicals. Scholarly books, textbooks, government publications, and technical books are excluded. Online coverage: 1983-present. Updated weekly.

Books in Print restricted Lists millions of records for in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books from thousands of publishers (including audio and videocassettes). Some book reviews are included. Please logoff when finished.
