Arts & Humanities Citation Index (Web of Science) The Arts & Humanities Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database that indexes 1,144 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals, and selected, relevant items from over 6,800 major science and social science journals. Coverage is from 1975 to the present.
America: History and Life Indexes and abstracts 2,100 journals, book and media reviews, and dissertations about the history and culture of the US and Canada. Searches by subject, author, title, time period, or document type. Coverage from 1964 to the present. Updated monthly.
Art Abstracts Indexes more than 400 of the leading journals in the arts, including areas such as archaeology, architecture, art history, city planning, crafts, film, folk art, industrial design, interior design, landscape architecture, musicology, painting, photography, sculpture, television, textiles, and video. Coverage is from 1984 with abstracts since 1994. Updated monthly.
Art Index Retrospective: 1929-1984 This index covers back issues of Art Index and includes citations from over 420 periodicals in English and other languages. Covering fine, decorative and commercial art, it also indexes reproductions of art works appearing in these periodicals.

ATLA Religion Index to thousands of citations to journals and edited books as well as book reviews in the field of religious studies. Coverage from 1949 to the present, with selected records back to 1818. Updated twice a year.
ComIndThis index covers 70 key journals in Communications. It has much broader and more complete coverage than Communication Abstracts. It does not, however, contain abstracts of the articles indexed. Some useful search features include: full Boolean search logic and provides context sensitive online help and pop-up keyword dictionaries to assist novice searchers. ComIndex tracks co-occurrence links between concepts (e.g., the term "television" often co-occurrs with the term "violence") and authors (e.g., "Smith" frequently publishes with "Jones"). This unique feature allows the user to discover interrelationships of concepts and ideas and makes transparent cooperative relationships among authors (sometimes referred to as "invisible colleges"). ComIndex's author frequency sort may also be used to explore publication rates and practices within the communication field.

Areas covered include modern languages and literature, folklore, linguistics, literary themes, genres, and related topics across national literatures and other classified boundaries. Covers from 1963 to the present. Updated 9 times per year.
Music Index Online A comprehensive index covering more than 800 US and international music periodicals. Includes articles, book reviews, dissertations, and obituaries. Links to full-text journals in JSTOR. Coverage from 1975.
Nineteenth-Century Masterfile An index to over 8 million articles from popular and scholarly journals published between 1802 and 1906. Based on Poole's Index to Periodical Literature, the Masterfile adds periodicals, books, newspapers, U.S. and U.K. government documents, and U.S. patents not found in the old print index.
Project Muse Project MUSE offers nearly 250 journal titles from some 40 scholarly publishers in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, economics, and others.

TLS: Times Literary Supplement Centenary Archive
An index to full-text articles from the world's oldest weekly contemporary literary reviews. (The TLS is associated with The Times of London, published since 1788. The library subscribes to this source in paper and has a full run of it in microfilm). Coverage: 1902-1990.
