WestCat WestCat is WMU's online library catalog. It can be used to identify books (including online books), government documents, journals, videos, sound recordings, slides and other items that the University Libraries has in its collections. WestCat can be searched by title, author, subject heading, keyword, call number, and more.
WorldCat Comprehensive catalog of books and other materials in libraries around the world. Contains millions of records in hundreds of languages. Nonbook materials include (among other publication formats) the titles of journals and magazines, manuscripts, maps, electronic resources, websites, computer programs, musical scores, films, slides, sound recordings, conference proceedings, and videotapes. Items located through WorldCat must be requested through Interlibrary Loan unless they are also listed in the WMU libraries catalog, WestCat.
Books in Print Lists millions of records for in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books from thousands of publishers (including audio and videocassettes). Some book reviews are included. Please logoff when finished.
Google Book Search Search the full text of books, find full text of the books where copyright laws allow, see a few pages, or find where you can purchase or borrow the particular book. Google is working with publishers and libraries to provide access to as many books as possible.
Ebrary A collection of over 30,000 books from over 150 publishers covering all academic disciplines. Users must download and install the Ebrary software to view the books.
NetLibrary A collection of over 24,000 electronic books that are searchable and readable online. To create a personal list of books, make notes or in other ways customize NetLibrary for your own use, create a Free Account.
For best results, search WestCat for all books whether print or electronic. Please note that not all NetLibrary titles are accessible on Macs. Some work only with Internet Explorer, available in Waldo Library at select Scholar Workstations.
