Columbia Earthscape restricted This interdisciplinary environmental database provides current environmental and public policy information from research institutions, government agencies, and other organizations. Continuously updated. To access from off campus, please set up a username and password from the Login page while on campus.

CQ Researcher restricted Explores a current news issue in-depth each week. Articles typically include charts, graphs and sidebars, a pro-con feature, a chronology, lengthy bibliography, and a list of contacts. Coverage from October 1991 to present.

LexisNexis Environmental restricted Indexes environmental content in journals, conference papers and proceedings, federal and state government reports, newspapers, trade magazines, newsletters, law reviews, administrative codes, case law, regulatory agency decisions, and waste site and hazardous material data.

Scopus restricted Scopus is a very large abstract and indexing database primarily covering scholarly literature in science and social science. Use this to get extensive inter-disciplinary access to journal articles and also to find out which articles are being cited by other scholars. Web of Science restricted Web of Science from the ISI Web of Knowledge contains three major databases covering all areas of knowledge: Science Citation Index Expanded (1900-present), Social Sciences Citation Index (1956-present), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975-present). The literature can be searched by subject, author, journal title, and author's address. Cited Ref. Search allows users to search for articles that cite a particular author or work. AGRICOLA restricted Extensive index to articles and other information sources that concern agriculture, forestry and animal science. Includes food science and nutrition. Coverage 1970 - present. Updated monthly.

BIOSIS Previews restricted Comprehensive index with abstracts to periodical articles, reviews, and meetings in all the biological sciences disciplines. Coverage: 1969-present. Updated weekly.

General Science Abstracts restricted Indexes more than 160 leading science journals and magazines from the United States and Great Britain. Includes such subjects as anthropology, astronomy, biology, computers, earth science, medicine and health. Coverage: 1984 - present, abstracts from 1993. Updated monthly.

InfoTrac General OneFile restricted Indexes news and periodical articles on a wide variety of topics. Millions of articles are full-text. Coverage: 1980-present.

Left Index restricted Indexes liberal and progressive literature both inside and outside academe. Besides politics, many other subjects are included, such as economics, labor, the environment, women's studies, race, and others. Coverage: 1982-present.
