(Waldo Library, Microforms, 2nd Floor, Microfilm HQ 48). 26 microfilm reels; 35 mm. This is a set of microfilmed manuscripts from the British Library in two parts. Part 1, reels 1-14, contains manuscripts of works written by women authors, Julian of Norwich for example. Part 2, reels 15-26, contains household books, correspondence and books owned by women. The collection covers English and (some) French Women and the late middle ages and early modern period. There is a printed guide to the reels of microfilm contained on the little bookshelf in front of the 2nd floor microfilm area in Waldo which also has the call number Microfilm HQ 48.

(Rare Books Room, Microfilm Z 205) 70 microfilm reels; 35 mm. By far the most significant of all cartulary holdings is that of the British Library, which possesses about half of all cartularies in public ownership. The cartularies come from monasteries, towns, and private families.

A descriptive catalogue of the manuscripts in the library of Pembroke College, Cambridge by Montague Rhodes James ... with a hand list of the printed books to the year 1500 by Ellis H. Minns, M.A. Fellow and Librarian" -- reel 1. Guide to microfilm collection on reel 1. A separate hard copy reel guide, based on the James catalogue, accompanies each part. Contains over 100 vols. formerly in the Library of the Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds. Also contains the greater part of the original manuscript library of Pembroke College itself. Materials filmed include a finely illustrate New Testament from the 11th century (MSS 120). Authors include Ambrose, Anselm, Aquinas, Augustine, Bede, Bernard, Bonaventure, Cato, Gregory, Hieronymus, Hugo, Isidore, Justinian, Juvenal, Peter Lombard. Hard copy reel guide is shelved in Rare book room reference collection.

St. John's College (Oxford University) The Medieval and Renaissance Manucripts of St. John's College, Oxford
(Rare Books Room Microfilm Z 204) 75 reel; 35 mm. This collection presents all 271 of the College's pre-1700 manuscripts--ranging from rare Anglo-Saxon texts and a 13th-century Bestiary from York to William Laud's Diary. Other celebrated items include Ben Jonson's copies of Terence and Juvenal and the setting copy of Wynkyn De Worde's edition of the Siege of Thebes, bound with Caxton's editions of Chaucer's Troilus & Criseyde and The Canterbury Tales.
