MathSciNet Indexes articles from approximately 1,800 journals, books, and conference proceedings in the areas of biology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, physics, and other fields that contain mathematical or statistical applications.
Science Citation Index
(Web of Science) Science Citation Index indexes articles published in the major scholarly journals for science, medicine and engineering. Search by topic, author, journal, affiliation, or use the Cited Ref. search to find articles that have cited a specific author or publication. The reference list for each article can also be viewed. Coverage: 1900 - present. More info
Science Direct Database for scientific research that contains the citations and abstracts of more than 1,800 Elsevier journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences as well as selected full text articles. Science Direct can be searched as a database or browsed by individual title. Coverage varies.
Applied Science and Technology Abstracts Basic undergraduate engineering database. It covers only English-language journals, no conferences. WMU libraries own about 60% of the titles indexed. Good first choice for engineering/technology. Coverage: 1983-present. Tutorial
ECO (Electronic Collections Online) Full-text journals in a variety of subjects presented predominantly in PDF format, including images. Searchable as a whole collection or just those titles owned by WMU Libraries. Coverage from 1995, updated daily.
