MD Consult
For general access, click the "Open Generic Account." Allied health, nursing and physical assistant students should use the Personal Account. Select "Get Personal Account" from the initial page. MD Consult includes 49 medical reference texts, full-text articles from 70 journals, MEDLINE and other sources, clinical practice guidelines, patient education handouts, drug information and current medical information.
STAT!Ref Online Library
This is a collection of online health sciences texts including clinical texts, drug information, general practice and specialized medicine titles. Search results are displayed as citations, which lead to the full-text, complete with tables, graphics and links. STAT!Ref also includes databases such as MedCalc3000, Point-of-care tools and learning resources. Please LOGOFF, so others may use the database.
Medline Plus
Health information from the National Library of Medicine presented accessibly for professionals and non-professionals.
Health and Wellness Resource Center
An index to articles as well as information from a variety of reference sources. Includes links to medical encyclopedias, a dictionary, drug and herb finder, health organization directory, and some newspapers. Coverage 1980-present. Updated daily.
American Medical AssociationAccess to JAMA, and other specialty journals in medicine, as well as links to science journals. If the link under patient information is followed to the AMA Library, then to the Medical Resource Center, links will be found to free electronic journals and electronic books.

PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's interface for searching MEDLINE, the major index to medical research, from clinical medicine to cellular and biomolecular biology. Provides free citations and abstracts, but limited full text. Coverage: 1966 - present. Updated weekly.

CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health)
Indexes journals in nursing and related fields with full text for 560 of them. Some go back as far as 1937. Updated weekly.

PsycARTICLES
Full-text access to over 75 major peer-reviewed psychology journals. Coverage varies. Updated weekly.
Science Citation Index
(Web of Science) Science Citation Index indexes articles published in the major scholarly journals for science, medicine and engineering. Search by topic, author, journal, affiliation, or use the Cited Ref. search to find articles that have cited a specific author or publication. The reference list for each article can also be viewed.
