Annual Register of World Events D 2 .A7 (Ref) This ongoing series provides a summary of events each year, arranged by country. The WMU Libraries owns this title back to 1863, with the older volumes in storage.
Historical Statistics of the United States This is a new revision of the original 1975 reference set which provides statistical data on the United States from colonial times to the present. It has been expanded to include 37,000 new data sets, and deals with numerous new topics such as Native Americans, slavery, race, ethnicity, the Confederacy, and poverty. The searchable and downloadable electronic edition allows users to graph individual tables and to create customized tables and spreadsheets.
Historical Statistics of the United States: Colonial Times to 1970 HA 202 .A385 1976 (Ref) This 2-volume set supplements the Statistical Abstract of the United States and contains data on social, economic, political and geographic development of the United States from its beginnings until 1970.
Statistical Abstract of the United States. HA 202 (Reference Desk Collection; editions prior to 1970 are shelved in general stacks on 2nd floor.) Published annually since 1878 by the U.S. Bureau of the Census, this is a standard national data book for United States statistics.
