Article Indexes

13 resources available.
restricted - Restricted to WMU users open access - Open Access

These indexes to journal articles (one source indexes dissertations) are listed in alphabetical order. Their titles suggest the subjects they cover. Students may need to use more than one of these indexes to search for pertinent articles. In some cases the indexes not only cite articles we own in print but also in electronic full-text. In other cases, however, we won't own the journal at all and you will need to request a copy of the article you want through Interlibrary Loan.

PsycINFO restricted Psychological Abstracts BF 1 .P65 (General Stacks)
Covers world-wide literature in psychology and related disciplines. Journal articles, technical reports, books, book chapters, and dissertations are included. Coverage: 1887-present. Updated weekly.
Use the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms for subject words: BF1 .P65x 2001 (Education Lib. and Waldo Ref.)

Librarian's Comment: Consider using this very extensive index to the scholarly literature of psychology when a communications research question has psychological implications.

Each ends with a quiz, and the quiz results may be emailed to your professor or saved within Searchpath as proof of completion. If you want Searchpath to save your quiz results, you must use the link above to enter, and login as a First Time User. If you leave and later come back to the tutorial, login as Return User. Check with your instructor if the class and instructor's name is not listed.
