Full text Getting to Full Text

The "Find Full-Text Online" section will provide you with links to the full text of electronic journals, online books, and other full text resources. If WMU does not have access to the full-text of this item the message "We don't have this item in full-text online, but..." will be displayed and you will be directed to other resources that will help you obtain the item.

Other Menu Options

There are many services you can access through Find it @ WMU. Here are some of them.

Search the Library Catalog

This provides you with a link to WestCat, the Libraries online catalog, allowing you to find print books, microforms, maps, and more.

Find it elsewhere

The University Libraries offers Interlibrary loan service which can be used to request items that are owned by other libraries. By clicking on the "Request this item via Interlibrary Loan" link, your article request will be sent to us and you will receive the material in 10-12 business days. Tools Citation and Linking Tools

By clicking on the "Download Citation to Refworks" link, the citation for the item will be imported into Refworks, which will help you create and manage bibliographies. Refworks can be used with word processing software to cite and format references easily in a variety of writing styles. More information about using Refworks .

By clicking on the "Create a persistent link to this item", a window will apear, dislaying a specially constructed link to the article cited in the Find It @ WMU menu. These links can be pasted into Course Management Systems or referenced in bibliographies.

FindInfo Find information about this journal

By clicking on "Look up this journal in ulrichsweb.com", information will be displayed about this journal. By using this tool you can find out if the journal is peer reviewed or scholarly, where the journal is indexed, table of contents information, the Journal Citation Reports impact factor, and more.

If you recieve a menu containing a selection of journals

In certain cases when the Find it @ WMU search finds more than one possible journal that meets the search criteria an intermediate menu screen will be displayed which lists these journals. If you are unable to find the correct journal among the choices you can Ask a Librarian.
