Who's Eligible?
- Students enrolled in Extended University Programs off campus courses.
- Faculty and staff whose primary work site is a branch campus or designated off campus site
- Students who live in Kalamazoo and Portage are NOT eligible.
What Can You Order?
- Books in the WMU Libraries' collections
- Articles from specific journals in the WMU Libraries' collections. (Note: Copyright guidelines will be followed)
- ERIC documents from the ERIC fiche collection. Up to 15 pages will be provided in paper format for documents not available online. For documents over 15 pages, a fiche copy will be provided.
How Much Will It Cost?
There is no charge for the service. However, you are responsible for the cost of returning any materials loaned to you and any overdue fines.
How do I Submit a Request?
- Register for an account if you do not already have one. If you have already registered for an account log on with your user name and password. (See the Registration and Users Guide (PDF) for more information on setting up an account and using the system).
- Request the materials you need using the appropriate request type i.e. Request a Photocopy, Request a Book, Request a Book Chapter, etc.
To avoid delays, please give complete and accurate information. Complete the required information for each request submitted.
When Will I Receive the Material?
- Items are usually sent from the main campus within a 24 - 48 hour period.
- Photocopies and microfiche copies will be mailed to the address on the request form. If the article is available for electronic pick up you will receive an e-mail notice.
- Books will be sent via UPS. (Note: P.O. Box addresses are not acceptable.)
- You are responsible for returning loaned materials to the Resource Sharing Center by the due date. Overdue fines are $0.25 per day.
Restrictions
- Journals are NOT available on loan. Only a specific article will be copied.
- Non-circulating materials such as reference and audio visual materials will NOT be loaned.
- Reserve materials will NOT be loaned. (Check with your instructor for materials placed on reserve for your class.)
Renewals
- Renewals can be made online by accessing My Account.
