Music & Dance Library Services
Music & Dance Library: Come in, check your e-mail, listen to music, and meet your friends.
Borrowing materials: Most books and scores may be checked
out. Recordings, videos/DVDs, and some collected editions circulate with restrictions.
Periodicals and Reference books may be used only in the library. Items on reserve
may be checked out for two hours, in-library use only. For loan periods,
see library borrowing policies.
Returning materials: Books and scores may be returned to Waldo
or any of the branch libraries. Recordings and videos checked out of the Music
and Dance Library should be returned directly to that library. Materials
must be returned with all parts, discs, booklets, and other accompanying material.
You will be charged full replacement charges for items returned without all accompanying
material.
Reference and research assistance is generally available
from the librarian or library coordinator during the day Monday-Friday, and at
other times by appointment. Assistance is also available by e-mail
or phone. See Ask a Librarian
Instruction in the use of library materials and electronic
resources is available for classes and individuals. Contact the librarian for
more information and to schedule an instruction session. See Staff
