- University of Texas Map Collection. A major collection of scanned maps. Also provides links to Maps on Other Web Sites where one finds an extensive list of cyber-cartography.
- ACME Mapper. Topographic coverage of the entire United States.
- Digital Vector Maps. Free outline maps of individual states.
- Digital Sanborn Maps 1867-1970. Large-scale plans of over 300 Michigan cities and towns.
- Map Collections 1500-1999. The Library of Congress American Memory collection.
- David Rumsey Collection: Historical Maps. This collection focuses on 18th and 19th century maps of North and South America but historical maps of the rest of the world are becoming a larger part of this online collection.
