Who is it designed for?
The tutorial is designed for use by FYE 2100 and University 1010 students. However, if you are not enrolled in one of these classes, but want to learn about the libraries, you may find this tutorial useful.

FYE 2100 and University 1010 students, should complete each of the three modules and then take the quiz. Successfully passing the quiz will entitle you to a certificate, which you can print and submit to your instructor for credit.

How can it help me?
Labyrinth provides basic orientation to the University Libraries, their locations, hours, and services. In addition, by completing this tutorial you can learn how to:
  • Find books using WestCat, the University Libraries' online catalog.
  • Find articles in periodicals such as magazines, newspapers, and journals by using the ProQuest Research Library database.

How long does it take?
You should be able to complete the tutorial in one hour. You may stop at any time and continue later, but in order to pass the test and receive a certificate of completion, you must finish all the sections.
