Government Documents Services
The
Government Documents Department is available during the hours Waldo Library is
open. The department is staffed by a librarian, support staff and student assistants.
If your visit requires that you talk to the librarian, please call ahead to insure
that the librarian will be available at 269-387-5208. See library

Reference and research assistance is generally available for patrons who come to the library, wish to call the
department at (269) 387-5208, or wish to e-mail a question using the Library's
online reference service. Assistance is also available by e-mail or phone. See Ask

Borrowing materials: Borrowing of materials in the Government
Documents Department is similar to that within the rest of the library. Residents
in the 6th Congressional District are eligible for a special
borrowers card. For loan periods, see library

Photocopies: Photocopy
machines are available on the second floor of Waldo Library. Other photocopy
services and office supplies are also available at the Copy
Center, also located
on the second floor of Waldo Library.
Microfiche copying: Microfiche reader printers are available
in the Copy Center located on the second floor of Waldo Library. A fiche to fiche
duplicator is available in the Education
Library in Sangren Hall. See Microfiche copying
Interlibrary loans: The
Resource Sharing Department can borrow or otherwise acquire material identified
in the course of a research project from various sources. This service is available
only to the students, faculty, and staff of Western Michigan University. Other
patrons are directed to their local libraries that can provide this service.
