The United States government had developed a web site dedicated to the flu. The page includes links to information on the seasonal flu, This page includes links to higher education guidance, and a toolkit on “preparing for the flu” for institutions of higher education. There are also guidelines for K-12 schools.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC)also has a page dedicated to the H1N1 flu. This site has much of the information that other sites refer to. There is a general information section as well as guidance for specific groups and populations. Each week the CDC releases a situation update called FluView that contains the latest information and statistics.
The New England Journal of Medicine has a web page dedicated to the pandemic. There are links on this page to advice for medical personnel, research studies, articles, and news updates.
Michigan
The Michigan Department of Community Health has what they call the H1N1 Influenza Information Center where you find guidance and policy documents, the Michigan testing process for H1N1, and a link to a weekly Michigan FluFocus Report.
Michigan also has a web page dedicated to the regular, seasonal flu.
Western Michigan University
The WMU page, called the Influenza Information Center contains regular news releases as well as l inks to FAQs for Students and Faculty and Staff.
World
The World Health Organization’s (WHO) Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 page provides a global perspective to the situation and includes guidance documents for individuals as well as national governments. There is also a frequently asked questions section that is very informative. The World Health Organization provides a weekly pandemic update with the latest information including maps of the geographic spread of the disease.
Maps
Google uses search statistics to estimate the occurrence of influenza. They have developed a series of maps that visualize these statistics.
HealthMap.org has a series of maps that record the occurrences of many diseases. They have one for Swine Flu or H1N1.
The Center for Disease Control has a weekly map of influenza activity estimates.
The World Health Organization provides a weekly pandemic update that contains maps of the geographic spread of the disease and its effect on health services.
