Study, Preview, and Group Meeting Rooms
at the Education Library

Study rooms are available in the Education Library on a first come first served basis. The rooms are useful for small study groups up to four people. They may also be used by individuals who wish to have a quiet environment in which to study. To reserve a study room go to the Education Library circulation desk.

The Study rooms may be reserved any time during the day, but only on the day of use. No telephone reservations are accepted. Individuals may use the room for up to three hours. Late arrivals; users who arrive more than fifteen minutes late for a room reservation may lose their reservation and the room may be assigned to someone else.

Education Library Conference Room

A conference room that seats ten comfortably is available for patron use. The room includes an overhead projector, a white board (with markers & eraser available at the circulation desk), and a video tape player and TV monitor. The room is useful for study groups, committee meetings, or other small groups. The room may only be used by a minimum of four persons. Go to the Education Library circulation desk to reserve the Conference Room.

The room is available on a first come first served basis and may be reserved anytime up to one week before the event. No telephone reservations are accepted. Individuals may use the room for up to three hours. Users who arrive more than fifteen minutes late for a room reservation may lose their reservation and the room may be assigned to another party. The room may not be used as a scheduled class meeting place.

AV Preview Rooms

All AV preview rooms are equipped with a VCR and a TV monitor. The rooms are available on a first come first served basis. The rooms are useful for viewing videos or films for groups of up to four people. Users may view videos from the library collection, the reserve collection, or their own tape. They may also be used by individuals who wish to have a quiet environment in which to study. To use a preview room go to the Education Library circulation desk.
