Photocopying in the Education Library

The Library offers a number of alternatives for users who wish to copy or duplicate their own or library materials. These services include:

  • Self Service coin or card operated photocopiers
  • Self Service card operated microfiche reader-printers
  • Self Service card operated microfilm reader-printers

Cost

Cash: Coin operated photocopy machines accept either coins or one dollar bills. The cost when using cash is ten cents per page.

Copy Cards: The copy machines also accept the Copy Card that contains a magnetic strip, allowing you o add funds to the card as needed. Copying cost for copies when using the Copy Card is only $.07 per copy.

How to get a new copy card

If you do not have a Copy Card, they may be purchased at any Copy Card machine for $1.00. The cost of the card is $.50 and it will include a $.50 credit.

Copy Card machines are located in Waldo Library, the Education Library (Sangren Hall), and the Music and Dance Library (Dalton Center). Copy Card machines may also be used to add value to any Copy Card.

COPIERS: These accept the Copy Card, $1 bills, and coins and return change when you have finished copying, are at the following locations

  • Education Library,  3300 Sangren Hall
  • Waldo Library -- Science Reference, lower level;  Copy Center, second floor; Central Reference area, first floor.
  • Music / Dance Library, Dalton Center

CHANGE MACHINES: Coins exchanged for $1 and $5 bills

MICROFORM READER-PRINTERS: Copiers that make photocopies from      microfilm and/or microfiche are at these locations

Note:

  • All microform copies cost ten cents per copy.
  • No cash is accepted.
  • The MICROFORM copy machines accept ONLY the Copy Card.
  • The Archives and Regional History library does not offer coin operated photocopiers.
  • Consult the staff in that facility for information on services.
