Wall Street Journal
(Eastern edition) A U.S. daily financial newspaper that covers news and trends relating to business, industry, finance, the economy, and international commerce. Provides extensive price and other data for securities, commodity, options, futures, foreign exchange, and money markets. Full text in HTML format from 1984 to the present, but does not include data from tables and graphs. Just abstracts from 1982 to 1984.

Ward's Business Directory of U.S. Private and Public Companies

Includes private and public companies listing for each, when available: year founded, description of products/services offered, approximate sales, number of employees, SIC codes, officers, fax number, stock exchange, ticker symbol, whether private or public, or a subsidiary, and lists the companies by location (zip code). In addition the directory contains ranked lists of the 1,000 largest privately held companies, and the 1000 largest public companies. Ranks companies by sales within four-digit SIC, within four-digit SIC code for states, and by sales within six digit NAICS. WDI Online
A searchable database of more than 700 development indicators, with time series for 208 countries and 18 country groups covering the time period 1960 to 2006. Data from the World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world.

Web of Science
Contains three major databases: (1) Science Citation Index Expanded (1900-present), (2) Social Sciences Citation Index (1956-present), and (3) Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975-present). Cited Ref. Search allows users to search for articles that cite a particular author or work.   Tutorial

Westlaw Campus Research
An extensive research database of legal sources, including the Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Register, United States Code Annotated (USCA), Federal and State court cases, American Law Reports (ALR), and American Jurisprudence 2d, Black's Law Dictionary, Legal Guides, and more. Also includes more than 700 law reviews and journals.

Who's Who on the Web
Provides brief, usually up to date and usually reliable biographical information about more than 1.3 million people. Entries focus on frequently needed facts, such as birthdates, education, career, publications, and other objective data supplied by the individual to the editors. Who's Who in America biographies go back to 1607. The coverage of the rest of the Marquis Who's Who series is from 1985 to the present.

Wiley Interscience
This collection of about 1200 online journals focuses mostly on the sciences, but includes some business, education, and social science journals. Access back to 1996. This collection now includes journals formerly listed on Blackwell Synergy.

Wilson Business Abstracts
Indexes and abstracts more than 600 international English-language business magazines cover-to-cover. Overlaps somewhat with the more comprehensive index ABI/INFORM. Coverage is from 1986 to date. Updated monthly.

Wilson Select Plus
Index to full text articles in science, humanities, social sciences, education and business. The index includes records from: Readers' Guide Abstracts, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts. Coverage: 1994 to the present. Updated weekly.

WMU Image Catalog
The Image Catalog database is a catalog of University Libraries’ Visual Resources Library slide and digital images collection.  Use the Image Catalog to locate art images for instructional and research purposes.  Search the catalog by creator, title, keyword, date, medium, culture, stylistic period, subject, and more.  The search result screen displays a thumbnail image and brief descriptive text.  For digital images the thumbnail will be of the actual work. For slides (images that are not available in a digital format) the resulting thumbnail image will be a placeholder and will contain the call number of that image so if can be located in the original Visual Resources Library collection.  To learn more about the item, double click the thumbnail; a larger image is then displayed with the catalog record appearing on the left.

Women and Social Movements, 1600-2000: Scholar's Edition: Women's Commissions
When complete, this collection will contain 75,000 pages of materials documenting women's issues over more than four decades in all fifty states and U.S. territories. This includes the 1963 final reports of the President's Commission on the Status of Women and reports from the many state and local commissions since then.
