Labor and Employment Law library The Labor and Employment Law library provides a resource for cases, guidance, and news in all major areas of the field of employment relations: fair employment practices, individual employment rights, Americans with disabilities, wages and hours, labor-management relations, collective bargaining, and labor arbitration.
Latin American Women Writers When complete, this resource will contain approximately 100,000 pages of prose, poetry and drama by women writers from Mexico, Central, and South America from the colonial period to the present. Currently there are about 4200 pages of prose and poetry available. Drama will be added next.
Latino Literature Contains approximately 48 plays and 13,000 pages of prose and poetry by Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican and other Latin writers working in the United States. When complete it will include 100,000 pages of fiction and poetry and 450 plays.
LearningExpress Library (formerly LearnATest) Includes preparation materials and interactive practice exams for numerous standardized tests such as MEAP, GED, SAT, and GRE. Also includes tests for professions such as law enforcement and real estate. This free service does require that you register a username or email address. Michigan residents can access this database from the Michigan eLibrary by logging on with a Michigan ID or driver's license number.
