GAO Reports (Government Accountability Office)
This Federal database contains the Government Accountability Office's (GAO) "blue book" reports which contain findings and recommendations to Congress. Restricted and classified products, as well as correspondence, are not included in this database. Coverage 1993 to present. Updated daily.

GenderWatch
An historical and current perspective on the evolution of women's and gender issues. Full-text articles from over 200 scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, regional publications, as well as books, and reports. Coverage from 1970.

General Business File ASAP
An index of business publications that includes trade publications, newspapers, journals, broker research reports, and company profiles, some articles with full text and images. Coverage 1980 - present.

GeoScienceWorld
Provides full-text searching and online access to 32 high-impact, peer-reviewed scholarly journals produced by leading geoscientific organizations (AAPG, AGI, GSA, MSA, GSL, SEPG, SEG). Each journal includes one to five years of backfiles and is updated continuously. Alerting and monitoring services are available.

Google Book Search
Search the full text of books, find full text of the books where copyright laws allow, see a few pages, or find where you can purchase or borrow the particular book. Google is working with publishers and libraries to provide access to as many books as possible.

Google Scholar
This new service from Google searches scholarly literature, including articles, theses, books and technical reports from many areas of research. Some materials are free, some will be available to WMU users only from campus computers, while others will require a fee. Please remember to use library databases for a more complete search of scholarly literature.

GPO Access (Government Printing Office)
GPO Access offers free searching and access to the full text of the Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, the Congressional Record, U.S. Public Laws, the Budget of the United States, GAO Reports, and other major U.S. government documents.

GPO Monthly Catalog (Government Printing Office)
An index to US government publications, including reports, hearings, debates, records, judiciary materials, and documents issued by executive departments, such as the Defense, State, Labor, and the Office of the President. Online coverage from 1976 - present. Updated monthly.

GreenFILE
A multidisciplinary database of scholarly, government and general-interest titles on environmental topics. Subjects covered include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for approximately 295,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,600 records.

Grove Art Online
A comprehensive online reference resource for all aspects of the visual arts from prehistory to the present. Online access to articles on the art and culture of Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas and the Pacific. Grove Music Online
The most comprehensive music encyclopedia in English. Covers music and musicians of all types and time periods; includes bibliographies, composers' worklists, links to related sites, audio and music examples. Incorporates the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, the New Grove Dictionary of Opera, and New Grove Dictionary of Jazz.

Gutenberg-e
A collaboration between Columbia University Press and the American Historical Association that promotes electronic publication of prize-winning scholarly books. Besides the text of the books extra features include hyperlinks to supplementary literature, images, music, video, and related Web sites.
