HighWire Press. Access to free scholarly journals from various publishers available from HighWire Press at Stanford University. In addition, HighWire Press provides access to a number of free full text science archives.

JSTOR. JSTOR provides image and full text access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, philosophy, mathematics and other fields of the humanities and social sciences. Journals may be searched across multiple titles as well as by the individual titles. This database contains only back issues and does not include issues of the most recent 3 to 5 years.

Project Muse. Project MUSE® offers nearly 200 journal titles from some 30 scholarly publishers in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, economics, and others.

Blackwell Synergy. A collection of almost 900 full text journals in all fields including Business, Health Sciences, Physical and Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Emerald Fulltext. Emerald provides searchable access to international management, and organizational development, library & information management, leadership, quality and operations management plus a substantial number of engineering, applied science and technology titles. Full text journal articles are available from 1994 to present, abstracts from 1967. Updated weekly.

Chemistry

ACS Web Editions. More than 30 journals and magazines published by the American Chemical Society. Full-text online coverage dates back to 1996 in most cases.

Engineering

ACM Digital Library. Bibliographic information, abstracts, reviews, and the full text for articles published in Association for Computing Machinery periodicals and proceedings since 1985, sometimes even earlier.

Emerald Fulltext. Emerald provides searchable access to international management, and organizational development, library & information management, leadership, quality and operations management plus a substantial number of engineering, applied science and technology titles. Full text journal articles are available from 1994 to present, abstracts from 1967. Updated weekly.

IEEE Xplore. Full text access to many of the transactions, proceedings, journals and magazines published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' since 1998. Provides tables of contents to all IEEE publications from 1988 and titles of current IEEE standards.

Health Sciences

Ovid Nursing Collection. Full text access is available to about 35 nursing journals. The site searches all journals from Ovid, but to search only full text, limit your search by checking the appropriate box.

Physics and Mathematics

ACM Digital Library. Bibliographic information, abstracts, reviews, and the full text for articles published in Association for Computing Machinery periodicals and proceedings since 1985, sometimes even earlier.

American Institute of Physics. Journals can be searched by title either by current issues or all online issues. For a broader search of AIP journals, the SPIN database provides current indexing and abstracting of major American and Russian physics and astronomy journals including the abstracts of over 80 scientific journals published by the American Institute of Physics and its member societies since 1975.

AMS Journal Search. Online access to journals published by the American Mathematical Society varies from title to title. The AMS offers searchable electronic versions of its titles through both the AMS Journal Search and MathSciNet.

Institute of Physics. Full text articles of titles subscribed to by the WMU Libraries and tables of contents access to all of their published titles. Create an account for e-mail alerting, to save searches or maintain a personal file of articles.

SIAM Journals. The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics journals cover industrial and applied mathematics and scientific computing. WMU subscribes to all 12 of the SIAM journals
