Guest Borrowers
You are eligible to borrow library materials under this policy if you:
- Live within a 50-mile radius of Western Michigan University and are at least
18 years of age. You must present a picture identification with an address and
social security number. You will receive a guest borrower's card valid for one
year.
- Have a Michicard from a participating library and present the same identification
as a guest borrower.
Graduates from Western Michigan University doctoral program are granted lifetime
borrowing privileges. You must present the card issued upon graduation and will
receive the same borrowing period as graduate students (four weeks).
Individuals working for an organization that has been issued Corporate Borrower
Cards. You must present this card for identification and will receive the same
borrowing period as graduate students (four weeks). This card is valid for one
year.
