
Master of Arts Admissions Applications are accepted on an on-going basis throughout the year. Admission decisions take about four weeks from the time when all material is received. If you are applying for the HESA concentration, make certain you consider the deadlines and complete the steps addressed in Part C below.
The following is required as part of your application package:
Part
A:
1) Completed Graduate
Application Form (This can be submitted
online). Students seeking readmission need to complete a readmission form
.
2) One official transcript from every higher education
institution you have ever attended (except WMU) even
if you didn’t
receive a completed degree.

Part
B:
1) A written
career and professional goals plan. (This should
be approximately 250 words and should describe your professional
and career goals for the next five years and how the
Master of Arts in Educational Leadership degree would assist you
with those goals. This paper is
also viewed as a writing sample).
2) Completed Program Goals Form
. (This document may be saved to your computer, completed on screen, saved again, and attached to an e-mail).
3) The transcripts you send to the Office of Admissions in Part A will be made available to the department.

Applicants who wish to participate in the HESA Interview Day Program must submit all admission materials, including reference forms, by early January.
Applicants interested in applying for any WMU fellowships must apply by Jan. 15, using the directions posted by the Graduate College.
