Chris Coryn is an Associate Professor of Evaluation, Measurement, and Research (EMR) in the Educational Leadership, Research and Technology Department, College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University and Director of the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Evaluation (IDPE) program. He earned a Ph.D. in Evaluation from Western Michigan University and has an M.A. and B.A. from Indiana University in Social Psychology and Psychology, respectively. He teaches, among other courses, Foundations of Evaluation, Survey Research, Meta-Analysis, Research on Evaluation, and Experimental and Quasi-Experimental Designs. He has conducted grant-funded research and evaluation in health and medicine, education, community and international development, science and technology, and social and human services, among many others. His research interests include research on evaluation theory, method, and practice; quantitative and qualitative research methods; measurement theory and psychometrics; and research synthesis and meta-analysis.
